Evan Peña is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with over 15 years of experience spanning incident response, threat analysis, and offensive security operations. At Armadin, Evan leads the mission to balance the art and science of offensive security.
As a senior leader, he applies his deep field experience to bridge consulting expertise with engineering innovation—transforming years of hands-on testing knowledge into scalable, automated solutions. Evan focuses on elevating the consistency, precision, and resilience of proactive security by integrating human-led insights with advanced technology, with the goal of helping organizations continuously measure and strengthen their cyber defenses at scale.
Before joining Armadin, Evan spent 13 years at Mandiant, where he helped build and later lead one of the world’s largest and most respected red teams. Starting his career investigating breaches linked to nation-state threat actors, Evan gained a deep understanding of real-world tactics that informed Mandiant’s proactive security services from the ground up.
Under his leadership, the program grew to more than 200 consultants worldwide, delivering high-fidelity red team, penetration testing, purple team, and application security assessments for Fortune 100 enterprises and government agencies.
